Welcome to the Hoosier Lakes Radio Club!
We are a HAM Radio Club located in Kosciusko County, Indiana. We meet on the first Thursday of every month in the basement class rooms at the Kosciusko County Justice Building. Our meetings start at 7:00pm.

Fulton County Aux Comm Workshop - Fulton County will be hosting an Aux Comm Workshop on Saturday and Sunday, July 16 and 17, 2016. This class is designed for those auxiliary emergency communicators and groups who volunteer to provide backup emergency radio communications support to public safety agencies. I you are a RACES or ARES member, I encourage you to participate in this class. Attached is a copy of the announcement, and includes all the details and registration requirements. Class size is limited, so register early.

Ham of the Year
On January 14, 2016, Hoosier Lakes Radio Club had its yearly banquet held at the Kosciusko Community Foundation building. Club President Gary McDaniel of Mentone, was presented the Ham of the year award for his public service, emergency preparedness, and his dedication to Amateur Radio.

Gary McDaniel presented Ken Ledgerwood of North Webster, the President's award for his positive attitude, dedication and service to Amateur Radio.

New ARES Net every Saturday at 8:00 AM - Local Repeater Freq 145.130

NPOTA - “Throughout 2016, Amateur Radio will be helping the National Park Service celebrate their 100th anniversary. Hams from across the country will activate NPS units, promote the National Park Service and showcase Amateur Radio to the public.” The National Parks on the Air event is an ARRL sponsored year-long event that will include operators activating National Park sites, and operators making contact with those activated sites.
